Newsletter

Dear Friends,

I am very glad to write to you again and I pray that this newsletter finds you happy and blessed. I have been busy on the road since the last newsletter. I have preached in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Missouri, Indiana and Pennsylvania. I also was able to attend a pastor’s conference in Connecticut. I am seeing many miracles and blessings in these meetings. The section, Tell of All Thy Wondrous Works, shares a few highlights of these meetings. In the next couple of months, I am scheduled to preach in Ohio, Indiana, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. Please continue to pray for the doors of ministry to open.

I would like to add a new Question and Answer section to the newsletter. Send me your questions by mail or email and I will try to answer some of them in the newsletter.

I am getting letters and email from quite a few of you. I love hearing from you and hearing how the Lord is working in your life. I would also like to get feedback on the newsletter. I would like to know if you like the newsletter and any suggestions that you might have to improve it. Please write or email me with your comments, praise reports and prayer requests.

Please take a look at the tape offer. These tapes and CD’s are blessing many. I hear many excellent comments about the teachings that people have bought from us. I also want to thank those that are helping us with financial support. Your monthly support helps us get the gospel out to the world. If you would like to support our ministry, you may also contribute on our website at www.dueittministries.com.

If you would like to have me come and minister in your church or house meeting, please call or write. The Lord has been greatly blessing people and churches in the meetings and I want to share the fresh message that God has given me as much as possible.

Jerry

FOOD FOR THE HUNGRY

Hebrews 6:1 "Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection;"

We in the church have come to a place of decision. The decision is whether we will go past our foundation and begin to build on our life in righteousness or to stay where we are, going through the same problems and trying to decide what we believe. Many know what the Bible says but how many are willing to live it? This scripture is telling us that it is time to decide what we believe, decide what we stand for in life, decide what direction our life is going to take, and then begin to build on that foundation. Many are still babes and never go beyond laying the foundation over and over again in their lives.

"Let us go on unto perfection" is to grow up, get the foundation established in our lives and begin to live perfect lives. We need to begin to live a life without sin. The Bible tells us that we should discern both good and evil. This is discerning both good and evil in our lives. Are we willing to take a good look at our lives and say, "This thing is sin in my life and it is affecting me and my family." Many are robbed of the blessings of God because they are not willing to believe that they can live a life without sin. I Cor. 15:34 "Awake to righteousness and sin not." We should wake up and look at our attitudes, look at the things that motivate or manipulate our lives. We should work on changing these areas in our life and begin to live a life free from sin and free from excusing sin; a life of perfection.

TELL OF ALL THY WONDROUS WORKS

 1. In a recent meeting, I prayed for a pastor who was in a car accident in 1991 and broke her ankle. Since the accident she has had constant pain in her ankle and back. She said that she had to take medicine for the pain everyday. I called her up and prayed for her and the pain left instantly. She testified the next night that she tried all day to feel the pain and it was gone.

2. During another service, I prayed for someone with polymialgia, a condition that makes all the muscles in the body hurt. She said that she was in constant pain. I prayed for her and she told me that the pain was gone and that this was the first time in a long time that she did not hurt. She left praising God that He had healed her.

3. I prayed for a lady with back pain and pain into her leg. Because of the pain, her leg was not supporting her well. That night before service she told me that her leg and back were healed in the morning meeting but that she also had a throat ulcer. I told her I would pray for her after I preached. After preaching I asked to pray for her and she said that the Lord had healed her throat while I was preaching.

4. I prayed for someone who had migraine headaches for quite some time. After praying this person said I know that I am healed. The pressure is gone and the pain is gone and the Lord has healed me.
